Look at what President Biden and Democrats have gotten done in the first two weeks of August 2022!

• The US Senate passed the Inflation Reduction Act - the most significant legislation in history to tackle the climate crisis.

• President Biden signed the CHIPS and Science Act into law - making historic investments that will position American workers, communities, and businesses to compete and win the race for the 21st century.

• President Biden signed the PACT Act into law - the most significant law in our nation’s history to help millions of veterans who were exposed to toxic substances during their military service.

• The US carried out a successful counterterrorism mission against the leader of al Qaeda

• The average national gas price has dropped below $4 per gallon.

• President Biden issued a 2nd Executive Order on Reproductive Healthcare Access.

Alternatively, and no surprise to us, NC Republicans have been playing partisan games and are on the wrong side of every vote:

• CHIPS Act:

  • Richard Burr voted “NO”

• PACT Act:

  • Budd originally voted “NO,” but then caved after veterans pressured him into voting “yes”

  • Tillis voted “NO”

• Inflation Reduction Act:

  • Tillis voted “NO”

  • Burr voted “NO”

  • Budd voted “NO”

• ALL Republicans voted against lowering insulin costs.
