Since then, Republican State Treasurer Brad Briner has been sitting on his hands, and the funding! This delay is hurting local governments, school systems, and communities that desperately need these resources to meet their budgets and rebuild after the devastation of Hurricane Helene. We can’t let this continue. It’s time to demand action and make sure Western North Carolina gets the support it deserves.
